NASC Stock Detail Page

NASC ID: N9808

Name: CCR2:LUC W1

ABRC stock number: CS9808

Description: Fusion of CCR2 (AtGRP7, At2g21660) upstream region to the LUC+ firefly luciferase reporter gene (from Promega), as described in Doyle et al. (2002) Nature 419: 74-77. This is one of the independent transgenic lines used in Doyle et al. (2002) Nature. It is the transgenic parent used in crossing the CCR2:LUC marker into other mutant backgrounds, including the cca1-11; lhy-21 double mutant (stock N9380) reported in Locke et al. (2006) Molecular Systems Biology, 2:59. Parent was probably N2360. Self-fertilized since initial transformation. Homozygous family selected from a line that segregated for a single insertion.

Donation Date: 2007-12-21

Donated by:  University of Edinburgh Andrew Millar
University of Edinburgh Adrian Thomson

Donor Number: CCR2:LUC W1

Part of : Homozygous lines

Stock type: individual line

Material type: seed

Comment: This line was not used in Eriksson et al. Planta 2003, which focussed on Col-0. For a CCR2:LUC reporter in Col-0, please use stock N9383. A set of cca1-11, lhy-21 double mutant lines that were independently transformed with CCR2:LUC were deposited at the same time as this stock: 9809, 9810, 9811, 9812.
