Phenotype
Overall intermediate size to those of the parents; rosette and cauline leaves resemble those of A. arenosa; large rosettes with wide and large leaves; rosette and cauline leaf margins are serrated; relatively perennial growth habit, resembling A. arenosa, displaying abundant new basal axillary inflorescences and producing numerous flowers; flowers intermediate in size and color to those of the parents; flowers have large and pink petals, are slightly zygomorphic, scented, and have well-developed nectarines; plants are self-compatible; low plant fertility and viability (embryos arrested at various developmental stages, producing mostly shrunken and inviable seeds); high tendency to cross fertilize with Arabidopsis suecica; some anthocyanin variegation along inflorescence stems; height = 48-55 cm. Similar to CS3895 - CS3899 but in Columbia background.
